Maintaining your Quays Curls extensions is simple with the right routine. Treat the hair with care, and it will stay beautiful, soft, and long-lasting.
Use small amounts of product to avoid weighing the hair down.
Sleep with a satin bonnet or pillowcase to protect the curls.
Always apply heat protectant when using hot tools.
Wash every two weeks with a sulfate-free shampoo. I recommend (REDKEN OR AUSSIE) Rinse thoroughly, then apply a generous moisturizing conditioner from weft to tip.
Use lukewarm water to protect the cuticles and maintain softness.
Cleanse gently in a downward motion—avoid scrubbing or bunching, which can cause friction and disrupt the curl pattern.
Refresh with small amounts of Argan, Almond, or Coconut oil 1-2 times weekly as needed (Argan reduces frizz; Almond/Coconut deeply moisturize).
Expect light shedding; anything excessive is not normal.
Avoid products with sulfates, isopropyl alcohol, formaldehyde, or propylene glycol—these can dry and damage raw hair.
